After twenty years of successful partnership Renato Benedetti and Jonathan McDowell have decided to pursue separate interests. Their architectural practice McDowell+Benedetti will be wound up from July 2016.

Renato Benedetti has formed a new practice Benedetti Architects and will remain at the same address in Hatton Garden. Jonathan McDowell has formed a new practice, Matter Architecture, in partnership with Roland Karthaus (Karthaus Design). Current projects and staff will continue in these two new practices.

Jonathan and Renato would like to thank all the clients, staff, consultants, builders and other collaborators who have worked with the practice over the years on so many successful award-winning projects. We greatly look forward to continuing those relationships in our new practices and delivering many more successful projects.
